Employee Spotlight: Joshua Jackson

Josh Jackson has been the Atkins Special Services Project Coordinator for a the last year and a half. Whether its working on getting the south end zone ready for Mizzou football games or washing windows, Josh and his team are top notch, and our customers know it!

“Josh Jackson came into our facility during a stressful and cumbersome start-up.  With minimal direction and oversight, he was able to exceed expectations for our food safety janitorial services.” –  Justin Stuart, Aurora Organic Dairy.

As Special Services Project Coordinator, Josh is responsible for receiving customer requests and creating quotes based on what project the customer would like help completing.  He also schedules projects and works with his highly trained team to ensure every project is completed to the customers satisfaction.

Prior to Atkins, Josh worked in the food service industry for 14 years.  His favorite thing about his job at Atkins is getting to work outside and in many different environments.  

“I also enjoy being able to look at what we’ve cleaned or improved and be able to say “Wow! We did that , ” Josh Jackson.

In his spare time, Josh enjoys the outdoors (hiking, biking, fishing), cooking and spending time with his family.

When I first started with Atkins, I used to try to figure out how many steps I took or how many miles I walked pushing a fertilizer spreader or dragging a hose around to spot treat for weeds. Seems like on average, I walked around 7 to 8 miles most every day. Talk about good exercise! Nowadays, we have better equipment that helps save your legs and apps on our phones or watch to keep track of our steps for us. Gotta love technology!
